The hair cut is great, my son's hair was long and he wanted to go short and I will say the hair cut looks very nice BUT NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. My son went in for his first haircut in the \"big chair\" by himself *he's always sat on daddy's lap* He went in brave, by his choice, understanding the process or cutting it and growing it back, etc. He was ready to do it. He sat in her chair alone for about 10 minutes and then started bawling and looking to me for comfort because she sprayed him in the eyes with water with no warning, took the scissors to his forehead with no warning, used the razor quickly and without warning. She sprayed him in the face, from the front, multiple times. She did not communicate with him when she was going to do another step or help him to feel more comfortable with the process. When I asked if he wanted to sit on Daddy's lap you could see her disapproval but she didn't say no (thankfully but still shouldn't have gotten an attitude). He was shaking through the end of the hair cut and was scared. I should have taken him off her chair after the first 10 minutes, I regret not doing so. She used the itch relief powder on his neck and then dusted his face WITH NO WARNING in the eyes. I asked him when we got to the car what he was feeling in her chair and he said \"I was afraid\" when I asked why he told me \"because she sprayed my eyes and scared me\" she is not gentle or communicative with children in my opinion. My son's first hair cut sitting alone and it had to be a frightening and nervous experience because this lady was not gentle at all. I was told she has no kids of her own after I spoke with a manager , but regardless if you're a mother or not, you can still see when a child is frightened or confused. We've had good experiences with other hairdressers there, and they usually do a wonderful job with my husband's hair but not her! Do not see her for your kids. Let them enjoy this experience and learn it is nothing to be afraid of. If they go in BRAVE let them leave brave. If they go in ready, let them leave accomplished. NOT SCARED! My son has requested I take him to someone \"more gentle\" next time and I most certainly will. He is 4 years old."^^ .
