We have been loyal movie goers at this theater, and realize the actual location has no control, but I got all the way to the Executive Director of Operations in Fulton, MO with NO resolution. There is no reason that the website wasn't updated immediately with the closure notification.\n\nAt about 10:30am yesterday, Bill and I checked the online movie times for The Hobbitt at Dickinson Theater - Mesa Gateway IMAX. We decided on the 1:10pm show. It's not a close theater, but it's nice, so we made the long drive out there. When we arrived, it was closed with a posting that they experienced a water main break. Agreed, this is out of their control, but needless to say, we were frustrated because they didn't post the closure onliine. We went to our regular theater and saw the movie, but on the way there, I called Dickinson and asked why they didn't post the closure on their website. The guy told me it happened the night before after close, which gave them time to post a notice on their website! Not cool. He said \"we have taken the showtimes down\", but this was about 1pm when I was talking to him, so obviously, we weren't the only people who drove ALL the way there to find out they were closed! He wouldn't do anything for us, but offered to talk to his manager. He came back on the phone and said the district mgr wouldn't do anything, either. Talk about crappy customer service! I told the guy on the phone it wasn't his fault, and I was sorry to berate him, but I wasn't going to let this go. \n\nHe said to go on their website and make a comment, which I did. Here is the response I received from the Executive Director: \"We had expected to be open today. The problem has been extreme, and we are trying our best to reopen.\" I went back to their website, and saw NOTHING about the problem. \n\nHere is my response: \"You are going to lose a lot of repeat business by making an excuse. I have been a Customer Service Manager in high-tech mfg for years. You should offer a coupon to all that experienced this, and who contacted you. I assume you've heard how one dissatisfied customer tells 10 people, and those 10 tell 10, and so on. Shame on you\"."^^ . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ .
