I also needed to put the registration in my name. I also needed to turn in the license plate from my old vehicle and transfer it to the new vehicle. I walked in the door and fortunately I was the only Customer in the place. I explained my needs to the attendant and he immediately started processing my request. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you 10 minutes later he had completed all my tasks charged my credit card and I was out the door with a new title a new registration and sticker for my license plate. All this for a handling fee of only $25. It's not worth standing in line and waiting for your number to be called at the Beck Street office of the MVD.
