I've been in town this summer and decided to come by because I THOUGHT I knew what I was getting coming here. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed the first time a few weeks ago and just yesterday was downright disappointed.\n\nI got french gel manicures both times. The first time was alright, the tech was friendly enough and seemed experienced. My nails were in pretty rough shape then so I wasn't too picky.\n\nJust yesterday I went in somewhat late, about 5:30, and the technician who worked on my nails obviously didn't do this normally, or was new. She brought a box of tools out of the black that had \"clean\" scrawled on it in sharpie and used tools out of the box after rinsing them off with what I assumed was acetone. That really surprised me because I'm used to the technicians here using tools straight out of autoclave packets meaning (supposedly) that they've been processed through high temp/pressure cleaning. I hoped they were clean but grabbing them straight out of a box full of other tools just looked bad (and her rinsing them with... whatever made me wonder since they usually never do that either). The technician took her time doing the french tips on my nails but seemed to rush through the rest of the process which led to some bubbling. Afterwards I paid and left the salon only to find when I got to my car that my nails were A MESS underneath of them on the tips of my fingers. Gel polish (that was now adhered to my skin) and what I assume was the remains from when she filed my nails was CAKED under my nails. It was disgusting and unacceptable. I went back inside and had them cleaned up.\n\nI paid $30 and did not feel like I got a fair service for what I paid. Unfortunately I probably won't waste my time coming here again. Shame."^^ .
