"4"^^ . "(No spoilers in this review.)\n\nThe concept of an escape room is that you and a group of your friends are placed into a room and you have an hour to solve puzzles together and figure out how to escape. Good for teambuilding and all around fun.\n\nTrapped was one of the first escape room companies in Cleveland. They currently (as of 5/8/2016) have four rooms to choose from, all of which you can book directly from their website for $28 per person ($25 for students). I've done three of the four:\n\n1) The Cell - Escape from a prison cell. This was my favorite one of the three and probably one of the best escape rooms I've ever done. There were lots of fun little surprises and an overall logical progression toward the final escape.\n\n2) Pirate's Tavern - Pirate-themed escape. This one was lots of fun too. Harder than The Cell, with lots of mini puzzles that could be put together rather than a linear progression of puzzles. Lots of things for everyone to do and everyone felt like they played a role in the escape.\n\n3) Apocalypse - Escape from a laboratory. This one was unfortunately not so good. We spent about half an hour trying to figure out a single clue, and once we figured out the clue, we spent about 10 minutes figuring out the entire remainder of the escape room and 10 minutes realizing that we already had the answer and just needed to give the door a push. We escaped, but it was very unsatisfying. There were also a ton of extraneous things in this room that did nothing but add to the frustration.\n\nAll in all, I would recommend Trapped - definitely check out The Cell!"^^ .
