"This review is strictly of the happy hour at this restaurant.\n\nMy husband and I usually do a local happy hour during the week and have several \nfavorites both in Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, however, we recently\ntried Tanzy. It turned out to be a mistake. \n\nHappy hour seating is either at the bar or on several sofas. We opted for the bar.\nThere was no happy hour beverage or food menu. The bartender mentioned one \nred and white wine for five dollars. As for the food, he pointed to three appetizers \non the regular menu and said that they were eight dollars each. I couldn't determine\n if he just picked those three out of the blue and they changed nightly - very strange. \nThe three choices for the evening were grilled calamari, meatballs with bruschetta \nor fried brussel sprouts. We opted for the first two and both were inedible and \nlukewarm. The meatballs were mostly filling. The calamari was tough and no spices. \nAfter a couple of bites we were done. Service was sorely lacking also. Win some, \nlose some and we surely lost on this one."^^ .
