I've been through the monuments and plaques once, but they're not worth coming back for on multiple occasions. A nice restaurant with a deck overlooking a water fixture that could serve as an ice rink in the winter (similar to Millennium Park in Chicago) would add some appeal and life to the otherwise dead space in the center of the park. At this point it hasn't been made a destination for anything other than a quick pass through via bicycle and perhaps a pause at the fountain for the obligatory Instagram photo. I always feel the need to get on with my life almost as soon as I get here. Hopefully the city eventually decides to make something of Point Park. As of right now it feels a lot like the rest of downtown Pittsburgh...a little underdeveloped."^^ . "0"^^ .
