First the female MD on call couldn't start an IV.  She made the comment I had 'small veins'.  If you can't start an IV you can't give care.  Next, after 5 sticks, a line was placed.  Then I was told I had been given 'plenty' of pain medication and I only had a 'deep bruising'.  Next the MD ordered CT with Iodine contrast.  When I refused contrast she reprimanded me 'what is your problem' and said I would be responsible for any missed injuries.  When it turned out I had 8 fractures and a collapsed lung I was thankfully transferred out of this hellhole to a real trauma facility.
