. "2"^^ . "It was a cold night in Phoenix and we wanted to grab a light dessert after a hot ramen dinner. Boba sounded like the perfect answer, so we drove to Boba Tree Lin Tea House, which is located in the corner of a shopping plaza. On first impression, there are a lot of high-end cars in the lot. We saw every kind of BMW, a Maserati, and a Range Rover. It was like an informal car show.\n\nThe interior reminded me of a coffee shop. It seemed like a great place to hang out with friends or study. Lots of group and counter seating available with some odd but fun interactive d\u00E9cor, but they were mostly occupied when we came in. They have a mounted TV playing Vevo music videos. The menu is a bit funky. I was not brave enough to try the cheese foam drinks but they seem to be very popular here. They don't have an extensive selection but they have what you'd expect at a minimum.\n\nI ordered a large warm taro milk tea. Price was on the mid to expensive range; also they charge an extra fee for anything under the minimum charge of $10.00, which is technically illegal but fairly common in boba shops. The portions were on the smaller side but they made up for that with a ridiculous amount of tapioca, almost 40% of the cup. It came out within 5 minutes and tasted mildly sweet. Not the best I've ever had but certainly not bad."^^ . "3"^^ . "6"^^ . "3"^^ . . . "2017-11-27T00:00:00"^^ .
