The paralegal helped us with all of the paperwork, then told us that right after the closing the next day, since we signed the day before, once the buyer signs, they would wire the funds to our bank account at around 10 am. He then said that the funds should be available around noon. He also told us he would call once it was done. Well, around 4:45 the day of closing, I called the bank. They had no wires received from them. I then called them. The receptionist said they had had a lot of closings that day, which means nothing to me. You finish one before you start another. If you don't wire the funds, you have not finished it. Regardless, she said that she would talk to the only paralegal still there and they confirmed the funds had STILL not been wired, which means that 1) The paralegal was not truthful with us and 2) The funds will not even be available to us until the following Monday at the earliest. I can only assume that they have sent them by now, but I have no way of knowing. \n The buyer chose this firm, not me. I would have done my research first. So, as it stands right now, the house I sold has been removed from MLS and the buyer is moving in this weekend, but we have no money to show for it."^^ . "2018-04-28T00:00:00"^^ . . . .
