I keep my house neat, and very open, so it appears 'clean', but I don't have time to mop and dust, and keep up with the detailed cleaning, so handybook sounded like a dream. I tried it before, and had a bad job, but thought I'd try one more time. I hoped I'd get a different cleaner. I was wrong. But, I thought I'd make the best of it, and emphasized to her how important it was to me that at least the floors be clean and the surfaces be dusted this time, along with the basics. \n\nMy housecleaner didn't mop, she didn't sweep under beds, she didn't change the sheets folded and waiting , she didn't empty trashbaskets. What DID she do, you ask? Sort of dragged a cloth around some of the items on the shelves using the furniture polish I left out, leaving a border around everything, pushed a dry, Swiffer-like 'broom' around some of the floor ( but, again, no mop???!!!), leaving the dust- bunnies under the bed. Kind of swiped through the middle of mirrors , using the glass cleaner I left out, leaving a border of streaks and droplets around the edges. Halfway cleaned parts of the shower, but left the faucet and handles, as well as the soap cubby, and big spots on the shower floor untouched, as evidenced by the light biofilm ( slight off-white discoloration) that could be clearly seen in the large swathes through the middle that her rag didn't make it in what must have been a very casual pass . When my small, 1 & 1/2 bath, 3 bedroom house has had more furniture in it than now, AND I had the third room that was closed off cleaned, it took 3-4 man hours to clean THOROUGHLY, with all that wasn't done, and more, by other companies. This was a four-hour \"deep\" cleaning. Use someone that someone you know personally recommends, and avoid this business like the bad deal that it is."^^ . "0"^^ .
