"The Atwater Market is another indoor public market that offers a variety of vendors, from butchers offering fresh meat, delis, local produce, and specialty products. It's housed in an art deco building, designed by Ludger Lemieux, situated near the Lachine Canal and a few blocks of a walk from the Lionel-Groulx metro. Open year-round, I was slightly disappointed with this market as it seemed a bit too cramped, and there really weren't any signs that directed you to certain vendors. It was a little overwhelming, and I found that I found more variety over at the Jean-Talon. On a side note, there is a lot that encircles the building, so watch out for the cars trying to park/leave the lot.\n\n+not many signs/directory\n+cramped spaces\n+near the Lionel-Groulx metro\n+open year-round"^^ .
