They are the only ones with oversight for the horrible customer service from Southwest Gas.\n\nDO NOT CALL SOUTHWEST GAS TO CHECK A GAS LEAK !!\nCALL A LICENSED PLUMBER !!\n\nSouthwest Gas will send out a tech \"as soon as possible\". They won't tell you how long it will be or give you an estimate of when they will show up.\nWhen they do show up, they will run a quick test, and if there is a leak(no matter how small) they put a lock on your gas meter and tell you to call a licensed plumber. AND THE PLUMBER WILL HAVE TO PULL A PERMIT AND GET AN INSPECTION FROM A BUILDING INSPECTOR BEFORE THY WILL UNLOCK YOUR GAS METER !!\n\nWe called a licensed plumbing company. They pulled the permits, did the work, and we finally passed inspection a week later.\n\nSOUTHWEST GAS SAYS IT WILL BE 4 DAYS BEFORE THEY CAN REMOVE THE LOCK FROM MY METER BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY !!!!!!!!\n\nAnd the rep told me sometimes it can take 5 days. \nALL OF THIS CAN BE AVOIDED BY CALLING A LICENSED PLUMBER IF YOU SMELL GAS. DON'T CALL SOUTHWEST GAS !!!!!\n\nTo be very clear, I do NOT own or have interest in any plumbing company anywhere. But this repair could've been done and my gas back on in 3 Days instead of 10 Days with NO Shower, Stove, or Water Heater.\n\nIf you call Southwest Gas, they will require a permit to be pulled(1 Extra Day), a City Inspector to come approve the work,(another extra day that you have to stay home all day because they won't tell you or call you when they are coming), and 3-5 Extra Days for Southwest Gas to come unlock your meter. BTW Southwest Gas will tell you what day they are coming, but not what time!\n\nAnd last but not least, PLEASE COMPLAINT TO ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISION.\nSouthwest Gas obviously has no interest in it's Yelp or Better Business Bureau complaints!"^^ . .
