I brought in a few items to be dry cleaned a week ago Friday; two blazers and a blouse. The front desk clerk asked when I wanted my items returned to me? I gave her several days that would work for me. She then tells me they couldn't accommodate those dates. I then asked her why she would bother asking me when I wanted my clothes returned to me if my request would be ignored? She then looked at me. Moving forward my clothes was ready for pick up four days later, which is absurd. I picked up my clothes based on the date and time advised and discovered when I got home that my blouse; which had leather trim on the shoulder and waist area had been destroyed. \n\nAlpine cleaners ironed the leather portion of my blouse leaving the blouse ripped, tattered and discolored. I also had iron marks on the non-leather portion. I went back to the cleaners the next day and explained the situation. The clerk asked me if I am sure the blouse looked like this. I told her that she was the one that inspected the blouse and the blouse was perfectly fine as it was brand new prior to getting dry cleaned. She told me that she was just a clerk and she didn't ruin the bloused but will have the manager call me. She never asked me my name nor wanted to take down my information so someone could contact me. I also never got an apology. The next day the clerk called me and told me the manager came in this morning and said they never cleaned my blouse and they are not at fault but will give me a full refund. I asked the clerk if my blouse was never cleaned then why charged me? I then told the clerk that I didn't appreciate the cleaners avoiding responsibility for damaging my clothes and then passing blame to me.\n\nI have made several attempts to contact the manager but have yet to get a call back. I went back to the store again and the clerk said, calls the manager again but for now we can refund you what you paid for your blouse. I then said, you advised me that I would get a full refund for all my items. She then said \"no only the blouse\". \n\nThis is poor customer service and I will never go back again."^^ . "0"^^ .
