"I took a flyer on this hotel since each room had a full kitchen, but I regret my decision mostly except for one amazing fact: their free buffet breakfast is phenomenal!\n\nCons:\n* Could hear every footstep from the floor above. Stay on the second floor if you don't have too much luggage.\n* No mat for shower. A mat is something that can be sterilized but when there is no mat, you're forced to wear flip-flops or not take a shower.\n* The Wi-fi very slow and very spotty. If you absolutely need a strong wifi connection, please go elsewhere. We found that it was easier to connect using a PC or Android device. We have a MacBook Pro, iPhone 6S, and two iPod 6th-gen devices and all of them had trouble getting internet. I was able to create a hotspot using my Galaxy - which actually worked pretty well.\n* Odd layout for the sleeper sofa. We had to move furniture around just to open the pull-out bed.\n* Front door didn't shut all the way. Double-check your door is actually locked when leaving.\n* The rooms show their age and definitely need a make-over.\n* The area is terrible. Lots of homeless around. It's nerve-wracking. Next time I need to stay here, I'll pick a place 20 min away.\n\nPros:\n* The breakfast buffet is fantastic. We had sausages, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, chorizo, scrambled eggs, ham, milk, coffee, OJ, apple juice, toast, oatmeal, waffles. I mean it's basically a tiny Denny's...and it's included in your hotel price.\n* The kitchens are fully stocked with glasses & dishes.\n* Next door to Bobby Q's - a very popular BBQ restaurant.\n* The staff is very friendly, especially the folks staffing the buffet.\n\nOverall, some people will have better experiences here. Ours wasn't terrible, but things *could be better* and that's all it really boils down to.\nOk, I'm tired. I ate 13 lbs. of sausage & eggs."^^ . "1"^^ . . . "2017-12-25T00:00:00"^^ .
