. "Hmmmmm.....so you're reading a review about a yoga studio. It took me a long time thinking about it too before I started. My advice is to just do it! It's truly a life changing (and body altering) experience. Your preconceived ideas of what you think this is about (unless you know someone doing this) are, most likely, inaccurate. Chanting? Sanskrit? Meditation? No. No. And no. One of the best workouts EVER? Works your brain AND your body? Changes your life? Yes. Yes. And yes. (Men, did you know that the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49er's require yoga practice?).\n\nOk, we got that out of the way; do yoga. Now where? I drive 20 minutes to go here and it's one of the best (I've been to a few around the Valley). Everyone is pleasant and helpful: the owners, the teachers, the students. The class is comprised of men and women, all ages, old to young, all levels of skill, 'first day in class' to true practitioners, the incredibly overweight (i can say that: I was one of them) to the incredibly fit (I'm still overweight).\n\nSo stop thinking about it and just take a few hours a week to change your life. You'll be better off for it. How do you do it? Pick a day. Check the class schedule for class times. Hydrate 3-4 hours beforehand. Show up a half hour before class (you'll want to position yourself in the back of the room). Bring about 32oz of iced water, and a towel. Do not eat a heavy meal prior to class. That's it. And there's no \"let me go to the gym to get ready for yoga\" excuse either: there's nothing that can prep you for yoga. N-o-t-h-I-n-g. Don't like the heat? too bad, it's good for you. Broken knee? Bad back? Yoga will fix that.\n\nIt's better to practice a little yoga now, each week, than to fall in the hands of the pharmaceutical and medical community later."^^ . "0"^^ . . "1"^^ . . "5"^^ .
