We had a reservation and were led through a busy, brightly neon-lighted bar and dancing area, to an empty dining room. We were told that the kitchen had last-call at 10:45pm and ordered as quickly as we could!\n\nSERVICE:\nOur waitress was very understanding and patient with such a large group. I was on a 3-week vegetarian fast and had questions about the oil they use to fry the french fries. When I asked, she answered, \"I think regular olive oil?\" but didn't really bother to check with the kitchen, which I wish she tried harder to accommodate. But other than that, she was pretty polite and quick with service, as well as checking on us throughout our meal.\n\n\nFOOD:\nI requested the waitress to pick a drink that she recommended and she brought me the Green Iguana ($9) which was SO GOOD! It tasted like blue Jello but would be potent as their advertised \"Kahuna-fied\" sized drinks =)\nIn addition to that, my boyfriend and I ordered:\n\nBig Island Salad ($13), was alright. The dressing was fruity-tangy and the salad had large amounts of strawberries, mandarin oranges coconut, and pineapples. It was supposed to have mozzarella and provolone to balance the flavors. There was not much of either but I love fruit so it was satisfying for me.\n\nKahuna BBQ Chicken ($10), my boyfriend loved that it had BBQ chicken, ham and cheese inside and I tried his french fries which were really very good and thin and crispy. I could've ate a bowlful of their fries. Really good.\n\n& some other Kahuna-fied purple drink ($25), which was good but not as great as the Green Iguana.\n\nOur bill came out to almost $400, with a $62 gratuity included. Not at all bad for a location on the Strip and with a meal for 14.\n\n\nATMOSPHERE:\nOverall, a fun party place draped tackily with jungle decorations and a fake waterfall along one wall. People in our party also bought lei's in order to be able to get the BOGO margaritas, beer and coladas. It was all tacky, but in a touristy, fun way; and since it was intended to be tacky, it was fun to just kickback and let loose in the jungle!"^^ .
