Overall, the food was not bad, with interesting flavors. The place is hip and buzzing. The music selection was very good. But the size of the tapas-style dishes were so minute, it was almost insulting. We came in a group of 6, and spent $250 (w/ 1 drink pp) and we all left still very hungry. Plus, the service leaves something to be desired. Because of those reasons, I had to give Little Sister such a low rating.\n\nAt any rate, if you do want to splurge, I guess it's an interesting dining experience. As such, below I rate the dishes based on taste only, not the value.\n\nSATAY LILET (Chicken)\n6.50\nRating: 1/5\nVerdict: Teeny tiny skewers of unappetizing \"spongy chicken\".\n\nSATAY SAPI (Beef)\n7.50\nRating: 1/5\nVerdict: Teeny tiny skewers of unappetizing \"spongy beef\".\n\nWATERMELON SALAD\n7.50\nRating: 4/5\nVerdict: Very tasty and refreshing salad, but a very tiny portion. \n\nSWEET SPICY PEANUTS\n2.00\nRating: 4/5\nVerdict: Quite good. The only thing that was actually a good value.\n\nPANGSIT\nJAKARTA WONTONS, BEEF,\n6.75\nRating: 3/5\nVerdict: Ok, not very memorable. Small.\n\nROASTED PORK BELLY, PICKLED BEAN, SPROUTS, FRESH CHILI SAUCE\n15.75\nRating: 3/5\nVerdict: OK. Not the best pork belly I've ever had. \n\nBALINESE SHREDDED\nCHICKEN TACO\nLETTUCE, PICKLED CUCUMBER, \nCRISPY SHALLOT SOUR CREAM\n4.75\nRating: 2/5\nVerdict: OK, not great. Poor value.\n\nNASI GORENG\n6.00\nRating: 2/5\nVerdict: Nothing special about this fried rice. It's smaller than what you get as a complimentary dish of steamed rice in a Chinese restaurant, for $6. You do the math.\n\nSEMUR JAVA\nJAVANESE DARK SPICED BRAISED BEEF, CRISPY POTATO, GREEN ONION\n15.25\nRating: 4/5\nVerdict: Nice and flavorful. Very small."^^ . . "2016-06-14T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ .
