The salad that comes out is small, but feels upscale. One was asparagus based and another used haricot vert (small green beans) as the base. Really great vinaigrettes! The most memorable main course was the beef and mushroom ragout over the parmesan risotto. It is really yummy! The third course has been a great little to-go bag of cookies. It's usually $18 (I think) for the 3 course business man's lunch special and it's worth every penny!\n\nThe service is also very good. The last time I was there for lunch, the 3 of us had black pants on, so the waiter brings us black napkins to replace their standard white ones so that the napkins didn't get white fuzz all over our black pants -- that's thoughtful service! \n\nAs good as this place is, I can't quite give them 5 stars (but they are dang close!). I went for dinner one night and my side dish (can't remember the entr\u00E9e) was creamed spinach. I was so looking forward to the classic creamy spinach dish, but the waiter delivered my food and I saw these unappetizing spinach balls. I think when the chef wants to really mix up a classic, the waiter needs to let you know what to expect. The spinach balls had a gummy, dry texture and were not by (any definition) creamed spinach. But, the waiter and chef made it right and brought me a different veggie - which is why I continue to come back. Going back next week for lunch, in fact. Great food and GREAT service!"^^ . . "1"^^ .
