Today is the 1st day my wife & I are back in a very long time. We don't even remember the last time we were here last. Fiesta Mall today is a shell of its former self. Many stores are empty. Other shopping malls, such as Chandler Fashion & Tempe Market Place (just to name 2) divert customers away. Also the lack of a major employer (Motorola nearby shut down over 10 years ago) is a major challenge to the recovery of this surrounding area.
