The cook seemed like a Latino man talking under his breath. I noticed the cushions on the seating area torn and the tables a little dirty. \n\nI ordered a bento box and since I don't eat beef asked to substitute the meat for either chicken or more spam. The cashier seemed clueless, and went to the back and asked the cook, not a manager or owner, but the Latino cook. \n\nReading some of the reviews while waiting for my meal leaves me wondering if this place should be called \"Aloha\" kitchen? Do the cashiers know what Aloha means? I felt a smile and a warm welcome greeting would have been a better touch than questioning me why I was asking if the food here was authentic.\n\nOk, so I get my meal, take a bite and am surprised. It tastes good. My friend liked his Katsu and the rice was perfect. \n\nOverall, the food is better than most but the service and attitude needs to go! I'm being fair, the food is a 4plus and service a 2. \n\nFoodies; it's a place worth trying, the food taste good! \n\nPS, the teriyaki pork taste like back home in Hawaii.. Nice"^^ . "0"^^ .
