"The staff is not particularly friendly here. I bought some chicken and it did not smell right. I called the store and they did not want to return it. I ended up speaking to a manager and he really gave me a hard time. He ended up conceding that I could return the food for cash back rather than being forced to select something else. I was drilled about when I bought it (A few hours before my call) and was it in the original packaging and am I sure that the food was bad.\n\nI had a case with Giant Eagle a couple years back with a roast that did not smell right, I called and they were eager for me to come in and offered double my money back. I did not take it as I was not looking for a handout just a return. They were fantastic about this.\n\nLong story short I through away the $18+ in Chicken rather than returning. I don't have time for games and will not do business with a company that makes me feel as if I have done something wrong when they sold me questionable food. \n\nI waited a couple months to write this review as an immediate enumeration of my events would have been more aggressive. Truly disappointing and I will not be back.\n\nAs a side note since this event I have spoken to a couple neighbors wherein this came up and they no longer shop there as a result of 'issues'. I did not ask for details but it seems I am not alone.\n\n* Disclaimer: This is the ONLY Dave's I have ever been to (Richmond Hts OH) so I do not know \n if this is isolated at store level or if this is a chain culture.
