"If you do not want to bath in chlorine infused water, or shower finding that your skin is chalky from the hyper-chlorinated waters of Tempe, then Boyett might serve your needs the best. Because they rent full house water filtration systems. \n\nI just moved into a Tempe rental home, which seems to have worse water than Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Ahwatukee or any place I have lived in the valley. I was getting out of the shower itching and then finding a chalky coat on my body just from the water. My hands were drying out as if I was a construction worker my feet like I wore flips flops at Burning Man. This was only 2 weeks after moving into the home. I would have needed to start buying lotions and moisturizers. It seemed like my hands and feet would eventually start cracking before too long. It became obvious I needed to do something. The question became, should I buy a $2-3K system for a rental home that isn't mine? and move the water system, when I move....? \n\nKnowing that sometimes when you buy a house or move to your next house, the new house sometimes has a water system. I'd hate to end up a year from now with a $2K water system with no place to put it. So, when I heard about Boyett's rent a water system program, I felt it was the best thing for me. \n\nSo for about $30/mo I have a carbon filtration system on my entire house and I felt immediate relief after the Boyette system was installed, and when I run the chlorine measurement system for a swimming pool, there no longer any chlorine coming out of my tap.\n\nThey have 3 general options for full house filtration. \n1. Carbon Filter - $30/mo (chlorine removal, not minerals\n2. Water Softener - $30/mo(mineral removal and most chlorine)\n3. Carbon and Water Softener System - $50/mo which does both \n\nBoyett had to tie into a drain for my system because there was no soft water loop, so that cost $100 for install. However, I convinced my landlord, to pay for that since it would be an upgrade to his home, which would stay after I leave. \n\nWhat I like most is that if there are ever any problems with the unit Boyett will repair or replace it because I am only leasing and it is their responsibility to maintain it.\n\nWhen I met the owner of Boyett, he reminded me of someone who might live in a small town or was involved in agriculture, like a rancher or farmers. Hayden was slow talking, polite and wore a cowboy hat."^^ . "0"^^ . . . "2014-12-09T00:00:00"^^ . "2"^^ .
