We had to order them when a friend we ran into raved that these were exactly like the ones she tried in Spain.... and she had just come back from Spain a week before. SLURP. I could eat them all day long!! \n\nOh, don't get me wrong. The Sangria (red, for sure... the white was OK but the red blew the white one out of the water!) was fantastic, as were the White Tiradito; the Octopus; and the White Anchovy Fillets (very balanced -- I'm not a huge anchovy fan but these anchovies were really fantastic and not too fishy). \n\nDecent but not fantastic options: the golden and red beet salad (the citrus was a bit tart for my taste); mixed seafood ceviche (while this version is very good, the sampler trio at Lolita's Cantina is better -- see my previous review); and the Stuffed Piquillo Peppers (too much goat cheese and not enough peppers). \n\nOther stars go to this place for decor and service (in spite of this place being packed on a weekend night, my glasses were never less than full!). It's too bad that Julian Serrano's is in such an awkward location in the hotel. Oh well, better luck next time!"^^ . . "2010-08-21T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . .
