"The Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup) was perfection. Sour, creamy, savoury and DELICIOUS. They always use chicken breast so I can't really take a star off for the chicken not being to my taste (I prefer dark meat, breast gets really dry and I hate the texture) but the mushrooms were yummy. Got about 5 pieces of chicken breast and 4 button mushrooms. I ate it with rice (gat damn, $2.50 for some RICE?.. and $3.50 for the fancy stuff? Bahhgggg..)\n\nMy friend took the Pad Thai (shrimp) which came with 3 prawns (the large shrimp, also called tiger prawns), and found the entire thing extremely authentic and not at all spicy even though I think I recall seeing one chili pepper there. It was perfect as a Pad Thai but after eating it, I realized why I personally don't like Pad Thai -- a little too sweet for my palate in general -- but it is a truly authentic Pad Thai.\n\nThe service was perfection, it is a warm, friendly place with calm, cosy decor and classical music. Yes, it is priced higher than many (all?) Thai places but it is WORTH the difference in price. What's a few bucks on each plate for a perfect dish rather than a mediocre one?\n\nWill definitely be coming back. Just won't get the Pad Thai and will get a red curry or something (my true favourite), and perhaps try those chicken wings."^^ . "5"^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . . . "0"^^ . "2017-04-14T00:00:00"^^ . .
