"Some other reviews on here and other sites didn't recommend this hotel...I'm not sure why.\n\nI checked in here last weekend since my friends from college were getting married that weekend and was a bit nervous due to other reviews I've found. \n\nI stayed for two nights which had a cost of $171 via travelocity.com\n\nAs I walked in, the lobby smelled...musty of sorts is really the only way to put it so right then I was thinking, \"oh great\". I stood there for a bit since they only had one person running the front desk. I checked in, no problems, got my keys and headed up to my room on the third floor. After the brief elevator ride, I arrived on the third floor and everything smelled like smoke. \"Well...we're batting a 1000 so far\" I thought in my head as I exited the elevator...but then realized I was in the smoking section.\n\nI followed the hallway around to my room, on the non-smoking side and I had a bit more confidence then. As I went into my room, I immediately scanned it for anything unusual or dirty and come to find out, nothing was wrong. The linens were stark white, absolutely clean. Beds were made and had a \"welcome\" mint laying on both beds (a couple friend of mine were staying w/me for the wedding also). The remote for the tv was dirty but that's to be expected. Bathrooms were clean and spotless. Beds were comfy. Pillows a bit stiff but I'd rather it be that then mush.\n\nYou had the ability to crack open your window 2\" or to turn on the A/C. It ran quietly for the most part. Overall, the hotel had a \"quiet time\" policy which made me wonder how well that would work (I've was a traveling athlete for 18 yrs of my life and trust me, I know hotels). To my surprise though, the place was really quiet. No screaming children. No rabid elephants running through the halls in mid-morning.\n\nI skipped the continental breakfast and ventured to the Bob Evans right next door (they were GREAT btw), so I can't tell you how that was. Security on the hotel was good as you had to show your card before you could hit the elevators if you came in late at night.\n\nOverall, great experience. Kinda high in price though is my only beef with the place. Not that I'll be back in Streetsboro anytime soon, but if I was, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."^^ .
