They assured me they were and I took information home. I was thrilled to have an urgent care facility right near my home. The week of Christmas I came down with an upper resp infection and laryngitis. Went to Medpost Sat am 12/26. The front desk took my insurance card and copay. The visit itself went fine and I got a prescription. Low and behold I find out a few weeks later THIS doctor is not contracted with United!!! I'm furious because I feel like I did due diligence by checking before hand. The facility is contracted but not the doctor!! So now I am stuck with a $300.00 bill since United has informed me they are paying zip...zilch! How can they take your copay and insurance info and knowingly send you back to an un-contracted doctor. Like a lot of unhappy folks posting on Yelp about this place I won't be back and will notify BBB.\n\nUPDATE: Within 2 hours of writing this review, Brenda from Medpost contacted me regarding my bill. She informed me the facility had been misinformed regarding when United would be contracted with them. They have been trying to contact those patients and in contacting me they have reduced my bill to $0. Thank you, I appreciate the call and their handling of my bill."^^ . "4"^^ . "2"^^ . "2"^^ .
