It's also really easy to hop back on the 15 and head home, which we really appreciated, since no one has the patience to sit in traffic on the strip after a getaway.\n\nWe visited over the Christmas Holiday and the weather was very cold and windy, so I was disappointed they didnt have a covered walkway to the Bellagio and Aria, but I guess its not worth the expense since its not that cold regularly in Vegas (this was just a gripe for us because we have a 1 year old and its painful to watch him get whipped in the face by harsh winds as we dash between hotels).\n\nThe hotel is bustling with families and those with dogs, and the lobby can be a bit crowded at times. However, this is expected, given the fact that Vdara is a pet-friendly, non-gaming/non-smoking facility.\n\nThe cafe downstairs sells overpriced sandwiches, salads, soups, coffee, tea, pastries and sundries. The price Point is expected in Vegas but the food quality is actually pretty high and we ended up eating there a few times during our stay. The biggest problem with the cafe is it's extremely long wait times for the food to come. We waited 45 min for a grilled cheese and half an hour for a scrambled egg, al la carte :(\n\nThe staff is very professional and courteous and they handled the few issues (housekeeping and with keys not working) we came across swiftly and they were very nice about it."^^ .
