However, there are some flaws that I want to point out about this place.\n\nThe DJs at Prohibition are amateurs. They don't have any idea how to read a crowd and adjust their playlist to enhance the experience for their listeners. They simply come in with a predetermined playlist and don't even take requests (so don't bother asking). Seriously, what the point of having a DJ if they are going to just play a cookie-cutter playlist? One of my biggest complaints about the DJs however, is the amount of rap that they play. I don't mind some rap throughout the night, but it lacks a consistent BPM that allows people to flow with the rhythm on the dance floor. In my opinion, rap should be used sparingly. \n\nThe second major flaw of Prohibition is the lousy dance floor layout. The person who designed it obviously had no idea what they were doing. While the women's room is in the front of the place, the men's room is in the back. It really kills the buzz having a bunch of sloppy drunk dudes farting their way to the bathroom while you're trying to dance with your friends. This seems to happen all the time in my experience. They really should try and circulate women through the dance floor if anything. \n\nThe only thing they have going for them is the outside patio that overlooks the Tryon. When the music is too loud, you can go out there and talk with your friends. \n\nTL;DL\nThe DJ's are underwhelming and the dance floor layout is lousy with a bunch of drunk dudes stumbling to the bathroom. The music is mostly rap so it seems like no one actually dances here."^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . "2"^^ . . .
