When I was just a little refugee wandering the streets of Toronto with my dad; my eighties corderoy jeans; and patterned sweater, we would frequent the establishment. The decor is as tacky as before and the various maze-like levels bring you from one gigantic bargain room to the next. \n\n As a child I loved the great flashing lights that make Honest Ed's one of Toronto's great landmarks. In my adult life, I'm loving the bargains. Although I don't get my clothing from here anymore -- my tastes have become a little more sophisticated -- I still get my gum and some hand creams and little odds and ends from this place. I don't want to create a stir but their cleaning products and toilet paper prices are really awesome.\n\nIt's worth a saunter through and if you happen to pick up some bleach bathroom products then good on you."^^ .
