I've actually been wanting to try Thobors for a while now, but it's quite far from my usual area. This was the perfect opportunity!\n\nI went for breakfast my first day and walking in reminded me of the patisseries in France, although the prices were definitely a little higher. I picked out a bacon quiche and a raisin pinwheel and it came to just under $8. \n\nI took them to go and started to warm up the quiche. I had intended the pinwheel to be a dessert of sorts, but I was too hungry to wait. My first bite was also my last. It tasted dry, stale, and it wasn't even sweet. I was very disappointed.\n\nThe quiche was individual sized, and there were quite a few options in the shop that would have been perfect for lunch. But I felt the bacon would be most appropriate for breakfast. I was very happy that the quiche was miles better than the pastry. In fact, I was half tempted to go get a second! But I don't think it was quite good enough to make up for it.\n\nAll in all, a little pricey, and certain things are very tasty. I hope that my pinwheel was an aberration, and I'd be curious to try them again for some of their sweets."^^ . "2011-08-21T00:00:00"^^ . . . "1"^^ . "3"^^ . "2"^^ .
