"When I worked over at the nexus of King and Queen streets, I was afforded the dubious luxury of having two different streetcars which could transport me to the Yonge street subway and home to the yawning suburbs.\n\nThere was the 501 Queen streetcar well known for the length of its route, its frustrating detours and colourful assembly of ridership. It was, plainly speaking, a shit-show, and very unreliable. If, however, I was willing to race across the demented intersection where King and Queen and River converge, I could catch the 504. Compared to the raucous ride of the 501, the King streetcar is downright genteel. \n\nThough rarely a double-length car, it runs frequently and isn't usually filled with crackheads. It's a simple modest streetcar. It carves through the financial district and often turns around at York as if to say, \"I'm feeling easterly today.\" And on those days when it carries on further west, it's only too fitting that it collides once more where King and Queen meet. Another nexus. Another wormhole in an apple of a city.\n\nObligatory Title Rhyme: 504! I want more!\n\nMenu Readability: The map for this route really is beautiful. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/eEp7GR7EcUt6XCs8KTSHVQ?select=wxkdPjsdM5Y3oBpHDyXrZA#wxkdPjsdM5Y3oBpHDyXrZA\n\nNeed to mention: This streetcar is 24 hours.\n\nWhat this place teaches me about myself: I really do see all public transit as a metaphor."^^ . .
