Salesperson seemed like a very nice woman from Holland. Turns out she was a snake in the grass & probably not even from Holland. Everything about the experience was fraudulent. I asked what the terms were & I was told \"whatever you are comfortable with.\"\nI said that I would prefer 24 months. She stated my rate would be better if I did 36 month. I agreed. Two weeks later when I received a call from customer service regarding installation she stated \"for your 60 month contract.\"\nI was infuriated, but guess what? I was past my right to cancel timeframe. \nThe problems didn't stop there. The saleswoman really pushed monitoring with microphone. She said we could try & cancel anytime. Cancel anytime? Ha!\nI tried to cancel & was told that you can no longer downgrade your plan. Omg, I almost lost it!!!!\nI had my husband call back & deal with this ridiculous company. Spoke to a gentlemen named Eric 20335 (that's his name in email) he went back & forth with my husband. As a courtesy, he would reduce monitoring and the bill by $8 a month. We would no longer get the monitoring with the microphone or the use of the app. The agreed upon amount was still more than the lying saleswoman said the fee would be with microphone. \nEric sent an email that required signature in August 2016. I signed & received confirmation in August of 2016. Two months later I still had not received a credit and I called. Rep stated I had not signed the paperwork. I stated that I had and I would forward to them, which I did. \nFast-forward to February 2017, I still do not have the change in the monthly fee, Eric would not respond to my email & this company should be put out of business.\nAlso another item to note, if you do not cancel prior to the expiration of your contract it automatically renews for five years. Shady, shady, shady! \nI have told this company about 10 times that I want it noted on my account that I am canceling the second my contract is up. I'm so frustrated I'd like to buy my contract out and be done with Guardian!"^^ . . "1"^^ .
