I love the little cute town of Boulder City with all its antique shops and old fashion eateries, so I literally don't need an excuse to come here.\n\nBut on this occasion Art in the park was in full bloom. This event has so much to offer in the form of art culture and good family/friend time. For the entire weekend you can make your way down every tent and booth which are showcasing some amazing talent.\n\nFrom unique jewelry to acrylics, pop art, photographed destinations or even bronze statues. \n\nMake it past the art and you are now in the food court with about 15 food vendors offering barbeque, roasted corn, gyros, Italian food, burgers, kettle corn, and so much more. \nOn this trip we tried a booth making kettle chips or curly fries cut by some sort of mechanical contraption powered by a hand held drill. The portion of kettle chips was humongous! Even sharing this was not going to promise finishing them, and sure enough we tapped out with quite a few chips left. The price was $8 but the portion definitely merited the cost.\n\nNext we refilled at Texas Twister. We brought back our plastic drinking boot we purchase from them last year as they offer $5 refills. It is a refreshing fresh squeezed lime and orange drink filled with sweet water and topped with a cherry and they also offer the sugar free version. \n\nNow as if on a sugar binge or something, we walked across to the funnel cake booth. I can't even tell you how long it has been since I last had one and it was delicious. We enjoyed the banana Nutella funnel cake which was surprisingly not overly sweet, topped with fresh bananas and a fair amount of Nutella. It defiantly did not look like their display one, but non the less very tasty. \n\nHop right over and you are now in the homemade food booths. Here you will find roasted nuts with cinnamon and sugar, or the man selling his pastas made of basil and lemon offering tastings. Then there is the soup and dip mixes with plenty to sample from, or the couple selling their balsamic vinegar, olive oils, and salsas, just to name a few.\n\nSo many artistic and crafty booths to browse through makes for hours of shopping and an another successful and enjoyable experience at art in the park in Boulder City!"^^ . .
