This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in and that's saying a lot (I have lived in a plethora of luxury apartments as I work in the airline industry and move every 1-2 years). The majority of the tenants are college students who have absolutely no respect for the public areas in the building or for the those individuals who have to sleep at a decent hour so that they can get up early for work. Tenants regularly rev their engines and speed around the parking lot for fun with absolutely no regard for their fellow neighbors. And good luck if you have a pet as the noise will make your furry friend go crazy. I have complained more than a dozen times and all of my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Not once has the office sent an email to the tenants notifying them of the noise policy (probably because there isn't one). The gym has been missing a carabiner to use the cable machine and the smith machine locking mechanism has been broken for over a month. This is complete negligence that will ultimately result in someone being injured. The trash is piled up outside the dumpster everyday. The common area has one computer and with the majority of the tenants being students the computer is always occupied and the printer has been broken 4 out of the 6 months my wife and I have been here. I have never complained about anything as I am extremely passive, however after being screamed at by Kelley at the front desk today I felt compelled to let any potential future tenants know what to expect at Alta Tempe. Kelley said that I should complain to the property manager, and when I told her I had already complained many times to no avail, she told me, "if you're so unhappy you should just put in your notice." I was appalled that anyone would say this, especially someone whose job is to support and help residents. So much for customer service. In my day to day interactions with the other residents in the building, I have learned I'm not the only person who has complained as they have all expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of responsiveness from the front office. We are breaking our lease 6 months early and accepting $4k in penalties to find a quiet place that cares about their tenants. If that's what you're looking for in your apartment search, I highly recommend you look elsewhere."^^ .
