"0"^^ . "Came to Blackstone for a little team outing with some coworkers on a Friday afternoon. I had heard a lot about Blackstone since it is 1 of the only shooting ranges in the city limits. I was surprised how busy they were on an early Friday afternoon but we were able to sign in and get 2 ranges fairly quickly. \nEyes and Ear packages started at $5 up to $15 depending on what type of ear protection you wanted. The hourly rate for a range is $25 and $15 for a second shooter that is using the same lane. Being that we brought our own firearms and did not rent any, I am not sure how much firearm rentals are but I believe they start around $25. \nThere are 27 lanes and the range is 25 yards long, we did not feel over crowded or on top of each other in the bays which was a good thing.\nI appreciated having an air conditioned and well light range. Most ranges are not air-conditioned and the temperature outside determines the temperature in the range. Blackstone definitely has very attentive range monitors that are always present to help and make sure all the safety precautions are being taken by everyone on the range. At first I wasn't excited to have range monitors but I eventually appreciated it.\nThe target controls are computerized which makes it simple to send your target down range.\n\nBlackstone also provides a monthly membership which includes their VIP club lounge and other perks. The store area was very nice and well stocked with firearms to purchase. Of course the price range is on the higher end compared to the more local firearm stores that sell used firearms but still a great selection of new firearms.\n\nMy coworkers and I enjoyed our afternoon at the range and definitely plan to return soon."^^ .
