"3"^^ . "SIT ON THE STAGE IF YOU CAN.\n\nThis show was amazing from start to finish. I'm not really a big Baz Luhrmann fan and I only casually follow his stuff. I do - however - like musicals and Vegas shows .. plus I heard really good things about this. \n\nWhen I first got to the show we had pretty good seats near the front, but the usher asked if I wanted to sit on the stage instead and I was like, \"OMG YES .. I mean.. sure.\" You can't order drinks on the stage but the experience is SO worth it (you can take a drink with you if you already have one). You are RIGHT there with the actors and it adds a whole new dimension to the experience. The actors will occasionally interact with you (we never got pulled on stage though so don't worry). You can also get a few peeks backstage. Plus, you can look onto the audience and live out your dream of being a show performer which - if you're like me - will never happen another way. If you've seen a ton of shows like I have and want a new perspective, I recommend stage seating. \n\nAs for the show? It was fantastic. A friend described is a \"sensory overload\" and I feel like that's a good description. Constant music and entertainment. I was worried I wouldn't be a fan because it's been so long since I've seen all the movies but I think the show is enjoyable on its own - although it's even MORE enjoyable if you are familiar with the songs/works. Although I came to the conclusion while watching it that all Baz movies are kinda sad .. so uh, just keep that in mind near the end of the show. Still, it's a wild ride and it's worth it. I totally wanna see the show again, maybe this time from the \"common people\" perspective so I can get a more traditional angle. Highly recommended all around.\n\nAlso, did I mention sitting on the stage?"^^ . . "2"^^ . . "2018-04-13T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . . "5"^^ .
