"(Review based on 4.5 stars)\n\nI tried this buffet for the first time with my husband last Thursday for dinner (cost most on Friday-Sunday and holidays), $50.99 per person (prior to tax and tip...total came out to $110.24 with tax, prior to tip for 2). We arrived around 5:45 pm and waited in a short line. \n\nAfter it was our turn to enter the buffet and be seated, the seating hostess showed gave us a brief tour of the food and selections (she had asked if it was our 1st visit). My initial thought of this place was that the selection is smaller than other buffets on the strip. I would say that this buffet is more so focused on quality over quantity. I was impressed with the Chinese section, as the food was quite authentic. I was definitely a fan of the roasted duck and dim sum offerings. The employees and chef in this section were quiet friendly as I spoke with them while I was browsing the area. \n\nI also enjoyed the Italian/ French section with the chicken confit and polenta. You can really taste the flavors in each bite. I liked that these fancy tasty items were served in small little serving dishes. \n\nI also enjoyed the lamb at the carving station and also the seafood section (which is what I am guessing they are known for... especially with the long line forming). Offerings that I enjoyed included stone crab (very few buffets offer this type of crab, which happens to be my husband's favorite type of crab), oysters and crab legs. There are also mussels, ceviche and pureed smoked salmon and such available as well. \n\nI thought the dessert section was nice, but again did not have as many choices as other buffets. But the taste and quality of the desserts were quite good and indulgent. I was sadly disappointed to only see one macaron (an interesting flavor of red bean, white bean with black sesame seeds) offered. There was also this pistachio flavored cake that looked like a macaron that tasted nice but still sad that it wasn't an actual macaron (I thought there would be plenty of macarons here because of the photos I saw on this yelp page and also was mentioned in previous yelper reviews). \n\nThis buffet does offer things that other buffets may not necessarily offer that includes waygu sliders and truffle fries and street tacos. So I can see how this buffet is highly rated and also known as one of the best buffets on the strip. \n\nService was friendly and attentive. Our server, Maria was wonderful. There was also another male server working near our area who also helped to remove our dirty dishes who was also friendly as well. \n\nOverall, this buffet definitely raises the bar for buffets in Sin City and would come back here again.\n\nBy the way, this buffet is located in Caesar's Palace towards one end of the hotel. Make sure to ask employees where it is and don't come here starving. When we arrived, it took us 20 minutes to figure out where this buffet was at after we parked in the self parking area. Wished there were more signs around the casino to better direct us."^^ . . . "2014-11-26T00:00:00"^^ . "4"^^ . "5"^^ .
