This hotel rivals any of the major downtown Chicago hotels - which is to say, the Hotel Blackfoot is NICE!!!! They are doing some serious renovations to the exterior of the building, but the room that I was in was very clean, spacious, and nicely appointment, with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in.  The front desk staff was very courteous and accommodating.   The hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the east side of downtown Calgary (closest for Fort Calgary and the National Music Centre).
