The instructions were they should not have anything to eat or drink past midnight, which we followed. After checking with the front desk several times (after waiting for almost an hour ) and then being told we would have to wait an additional hour in pre-op, we decided to reschedule for an earlier morning appt. Our young children were not able to handle fasting for over 12 hours, being that their last meal was around 8 p.m. We explained this to the front desk clerk as well as the nurse. \n\nAfter coming home, I received a nasty message from Dr. B saying that we just left. I called him back & he offered no apology for being late. He just proceeded to tell me that in the paperwork we signed it basically allows him to be late. He then stated we would not be able to reschedule and would need to find another dentist. We were nothing but nice to those at the surgery center so there was no real reason for him to be so nasty. \n\n Dr. B is very unprofessional and made no effort to make the situation better. He made it seem like we were the ones ate fault, when he was the one running at least an hour behind. The entitlement that he showed made me glad we decided to leave. I would not trust him working on my children & feel he did us a favor. He did however remember to tell me that he had other kids who have fasted until 1 p.m. I'm not sure how true that is, if I was a parent I might lie and say the same thing, all while knowing my child just ate 2 hours ago."^^ . .
