Sold us a vehicle with a preexisting condition & wanted to partake in warranty fraud. Do yourself a favor & find another dealer. \nMy wife & I have purchased over 20 vehicles over the last 17 years. We like cars & it's sort of our \"thing\", so we know what a good car buying experience looks like. We typically have gone through traditional or private dealerships due to the positive experiences we've had & having additional assurance. That is, until we interacted with Arizona Auto Resource (AAR). \nWe found one of their listings on offerup & communicated via text & agreed to come to their office to take a look at the vehicle of interest. We arrived & David & Ryan were super nice & acted like our best friends. We were hesitant about the car because it smelled like cat urine & cigarettes. The key fob was also broken along with several other small details. They promised they would detail it to get the smell out & address all the other concerns if we brought it back in the following week since it was a weekend, so we agree to give them a chance. We agreed to purchase the vehicle with cash & they also talked us into getting an extended warranty. This is when the NIGHTMARE began! \nOn our way home we noticed the transmission was slipping in & out of gear to the point where it was dangerous to drive. We called them when we got home & they said they would look at it when we brought it back in to get it detailed. They also agreed to give us a loaner as they would need it a few days. My wife dropped off that week as planned & the loaner we received was terrible. The tires had low pressure, the air didn't work, & the trunk wouldn't open. When we asked about it they claimed they gave us the wrong one? After a few days they finally came back & said the tranny needed to be rebuilt, but they had everything else inspected & promised us that everything else was in great condition with no leaks or issues. They indicated that they could have it repaired but we would need to split the cost with them. To make us feel better they suggested that once we get the car back & drive it for a while we could submit a warranty claim to get our money back. I asked how that works & they said they get more money back from the warranty company then what it cost. They indicated they do it all the time & it works. At the time I didn't think about this being warranty fraud until my mechanic pointed it out. We agreed to have them repair it & wrote another check on top of what we paid. In the meantime we didn't anticipate it being gone that long, but after a week with no end in sight I had to exchange out the first crappy loaner for another piece of junk. \nAfter weeks of pulling teeth for statuses we finally got the vehicle back. Not only was it still not shifting right, they didn't detail it as promised or follow up with the other issues they were supposed to address. The shifting was still off & it was leaking transmission fluid & oil all over the place. When we finally got a hold of them to express our issues they still continued to make empty promises. They claimed they had ordered a key fob & that the tranny needed time to \"break in\". We drove it for several weeks & the issue didn't going away, so after days of complaining they finally agreed to take it back to have it checked out. They kept it for another week & finally came back & said nothing was wrong with it. Meanwhile, over two months had passed & we still did not have registration or a title. When we inquired about this they also indicated this was normal, which I knew it wasn't. \nSo to recap... up to this point we had invested hours of our time, provided empty promises, no plates, & still a broken transmission. In additional, we pressed them several times for repair & warranty paperwork on the transmission & have not produced anything accept a bogus receipt. I also called the transmission shop that they took it to for the second inspection & found out they confirmed the issue as well, so Ryan lied to us about it not having any issues. We also found out that the repair was done by some guy at AAR that has since left the state. After another two weeks of issues I decided to take it to my own mechanic & he verified the issue as well. The oil drain plug was stripped & it was leaking fluid from the engine to the tranny. I explained the situation to him & he suggested I contact the AG. I gave Ryan another chance to make the situation right & take the car back...he refused. He blamed everyone else & took no accountability for the horrible experience. Not only did I have to file a complaint with the AG I also sent one to the DMV due to not having plates yet (4 months). The detective for the DMV paid them a visit & actually fined them. So sad for a company in this day & age to operate like this. In hindsight we should have read some of the other reviews out there. Lesson learned on our part, but not too late for you."^^ .
