Easily the best place to pick up local produce on a dime and explore the flavors the city had to offer.\n\nWith the market just 10 minutes walking distance from where I was staying, it was definitely on rotation either for breakfast or snacks as we made our way in and out of the city. From tacos to crepes, food options are abundant. The one spot that I did frequent most was Mangue et Melon, a fruit smoothie/juice stand. It was the best way to stay hydrated and on top of my game with daily fibers lol. \n\nThe produce section is also worth mentioning. Much like a farmer's market, the local produce was fresh and ripe. They even had taste samples available for fruits, which definitely helped drive the purchase home. Ugh, my friend and I bought a whole basket of oranges, which we dusted off in about three days.\n\nPrices are relatively fair and there's just so many options around every corner. Whatever you're looking for, there's probably a stand for it. :) The shops begin setting up around 9-10am, but if you want to be there when everyone is there, I recommend lunch."^^ .
