"Two stars, with a third for the price and location.\n\nThis review is for the furnished corporate rentals only.\nI stayed here for a month at the end of 2013\n\nThe good stuff first.\nThe location is fine if you are looking for a short-term place near Playhouse Square.\nThe small grocery store and on-site laundry were very convenient in the winter.\nPerhaps this area is coming up a bit, but nobody in our company felt unsafe here - even with the Greyhound station nearby.\n\nThe not-so-good:\n\nThis is a student-caliber apartment complex that has been gussied up a bit. Sadly, the upgrades do not improve the overall experience much.\n\nWhen we walked into our apartment, (7G) the place was dirty. Some of the blinds were broken, and the kitchen was a greasy mess. The carpet had not been significantly vacuumed since the last tenant (there was cereal and other bits all over the place) - and the windows were just gross. I spent about three hours cleaning to make it habitable.\n\nThe kitchen is nice - with granite counter tops. But the pots and appliances were cheap and barely usable. Bring your own pans and coffee maker.\n\nThere were also bed-bug traps all over the place - mostly being used incorrectly. We never saw any in our room in the five weeks that we were there - but one of our company members did find bedbugs in his room - and took pictures. The management company handled it as best they could - relocated him, and sanitized all of his clothes and bags. You can find beg bugs anywhere these days. Just be aware.\n\nThe furniture is cheap, and not particularly comfortable. We had a small couch, one armchair, and a dining set. Just not many options. The beds were fine, though the linens were cheap and old. Again; bring your own if you can.\n\nEven with the large windows, it was pretty dark. We asked for more lamps - and it took five days of constant reminding to get them. \n\nSo, would I stay there again? Well, if I was working in Playhouse Square, I'd have to say 'yes' - just because of the convenience and the price. But it's not what you'd call a cozy living situation."^^ .
