They did a great job, pricing is average for the work and they were knowledgeable. Now the reason they earned this 5 - a year ago I was doing my first Triathlon and Murphy's law my break cable came right off.. The evening before the Tri. Heart. Attack. Called around and EVERYONE was closing, and I had to drive to Grimsby early morning for the race. But Gears, they were open an hour later then the other shops. Perhaps they took pity on me because of the panic in my voice, but they were so amazing. They took me in right away, they calmed me right down. They fixed the issue, and then some. They were so extremely sweet to me, they said let's get this bike ready for a race: changed the handlebars to a better racing position rather then off roading, pumped my tires to max, because I was still on knoby tires so this would give me more speed, adjusted my seat. They even showed me how to re-attach the brake line in case it got pulled out again.\nToday my valve broke, I had already purchased a new tube from MEC as I knew this was going to happen.. long story. So I went flat. Called Gears they said come on in, 10 labor charge, in and out in 15 minutes. Please note the store was busy. They adjusted my handlebar too for free as I took a spill three weeks ago and it turned in a little bit. \nI will come back to these guys because they have been so reliable and always good natured."^^ . .
