When I left the course, I though \"5 stars easy\". After a day that number dropped to 4 stars. Now, as I write the review I can only say 3 stars.\n\nLets talk about it: The course is amazing. Fantastic conditions for the middle of July. Greens fast and true. Fairways rolling nicely with no divots. Tee boxes flat and leveled. I was already aware of the price ($350.00 not including caddy/tip) before I got there. So I was expecting top quality service and a nice mid morning golf session. Just based on the conditions and my expectations, the 5 stars would fit perfectly.\n\nNow, how did I come up with 3 stars: For the price one would expect that relaxed move at your own pace round. I didn't get even close to that. I played in 3 hours... that comes out to over $100 per hour for golf. On the range, my caddy prompted me that it was time to start... there were 8 total groups all day. I am sure that I (as a single) would not slow anyone down. That did not matter at all - let the Cascata rush begin. Basically I was rushed through my round, listened to my caddy get a date with the drink girl, and was instructed to play through a four-some on a hole while they were on the green (it was a par-3). I even got the impression that stopping for lunch was forbidden.\n\nPersonally, for the price and exclusivity of a place like Cascata, I would expect to play at my own pace (maybe a four hour round tops). The condition of the course (immaculate) gives an automatic Cascata 3 star rating. The service is what makes Cascata lose that 5 star luster."^^ . .
