"1"^^ . "I was here this past Monday for an endoscopy and I'm actually excited about the care I received here. (I'm presently in an abusive relationship with my health insurance company so my expectations for care are pretty low.) \n\nAll of the staff were helpful and kind. I was having a raging migraine (yay fasting) and was hoping to convince one of the nurses to let me take medication I brought. That was nixed because my stomach needed to be empty but a nurse was able to procure a nasal spray for my migraine and that made such a difference. \n\nAlso, don't tell HIPAA but the gentleman in the next pre-op area next to me was awaiting a colonoscopy and expressed to his nurse that he'd requested a specific anesthesiologist for his procedure. The nurses had no record of that and I kept waiting for them to say \"I'm sorry, but you'll have to deal with having Dr. So-and-so.\" Nope. Within minutes, the desired anesthesiologist was IN the pre-op area with the patient telling him he'd moved things around so he could administer his anesthesia. \n\nWHO DOES THAT? WHAT MEDICAL PROVIDER DOES THAT? \n\nColor me impressed. Has the tide turned in patient care? Has Honor Health recognized medical care is about the patient? I certainly hope so!"^^ . "5"^^ . "1"^^ .
