They loaded and unloaded our furniture quickly. They took care of most of our furniture with the exception of a file cabinet that had a small chunk break off. Our new home had some tight doorways and hallways and there were a few items that were pushed across our wooden floors versus being rolled which we would have preferred. They did re-move a few pieces that we changed our mind on that we appreciated and re-assembled most of the furniture they had to dis-assemble. I was disappointed with the billing process, however. Dusty came out to our home and gave us an estimate for moving our furniture and belongings and the estimate he provided was according to him worst case scenario. We moved a good portion of our furniture and belongings to our new home prior to Firehouse Moving showing up for our final move and furthermore, the move took less hours than the estimated hours, yet our final total was about twenty dollars shy of the worst case scenario. My wife and were curious as to why this was the case. The invoice we were provided only had one line item stating charge for moving goods as opposed to being itemized so we weren't able to deduce the reason. It's on me for not bringing it up at the time I paid, but being tired and with the chaos and stress of moving I failed to do so. I sent a follow up email after things died down to get an explanation of the billing, but have yet to receive a reply.
