Perfect for a business lunch or quick appetizers with a friend or two. \n\nI was in Phoenix for the day with a dear friend of mine. The both of us were in the mood for Thai and so we made our way over. \n\nNeither of us had been here before. We were immediately greeted by someone from the back of the dining room who told us to take any seat. Someone came shortly thereafter with menus and our drink orders. So, yes -- quite casual. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon. \n\nI had the worst time deciding on a menu item! The menu is quite extensive. In addition to the common entrees and some specialty items, they have pho and some beautifully described noodle dishes. The menu photos had me sold! ...but I didn't go with the pho. \n\nWe decided to split the calamari appetizer. I went with the red curry, which had a very gentle, mild color. I also ordered it extra spicy, but it was not that spicy at all. I like the type of spice where my lips begin to burn. Ooo wee!!! Thar's nice. But the heat on this barely raised a pimple on my tongue. Also, the calamari was breaded too-too thick. \n\nBut, in all, the flavor was good. The ambiance was nice and mellow. And the service was attentive. I'd love to give them another go and recommend that you do the same if ever you are in the downtown area."^^ . . "2013-02-05T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ . "4"^^ . .
