Unfortunately, it has the vibe of Chipotle. Don't get me wrong...I love Chipotle (which is much better & reasonably priced than this place). I suppose I had a different expectation of Gadzooks concept \"enchiladas & soups.\"\n\nThe staff was friendly, but their food was below mediocre. The portions are extremely small (3\" tortillas and 1 ounce of meat--if you're lucky), the enchiladas really aren't enchiladas (I can attest to this as I am Hispanic) and there was nothing special tasting about the meat. Also, the price point for what you get is a little high. I had 2 tacos and one enchilada (no sides are offered), chips & guac and it was $13! Unfortunately, the meal wasn't very filling (and I'm a small girl). I have no problem spending $13 on lunch, but it better be a larger portion than what fits on a 6\" plate.\n\nThe tortillas were really good, in which they offer a 50/50 (corn/flour) tortilla option and the guac was decent. \n\nTo their credit, they had only been open two days and had someone walking around asking the customers for feedback on the food, pricing, portions, etc. Hopefully they'll head our advice and will evolve into their concept of \"enchiladas & soups,\" as I had high hopes for this place."^^ .
