Many of his symptoms were similar to a child post a concussion. He struggled with processing multiple stimuli at once, and his reading had decreased by a whole school grade. Dr. Landerville is wonderful with children. My son had some emotional problems as well due to his frustrations of things coming a lot easier in the past. Dr. Landerville was very patient with him. His crying fits were almost obsolete by the time we were done with therapy with her. He had received months of traditional therapy (PT, OT, Speech), but the therapies focused on isolated skills (hop on one foot, pick up an object, etc.). Dr. Landerville had my son jumping on a trampoline while reading letters or spelling, or my son would walk a straight path while identifying letters or colors from a spinning board. Dr. Landerville knew how to incorporate multiple stimuli in her therapies. Dr. Landerville also provided weekly homework therapies that I was able to help my son with at home. This helped me to be intimately involved with his therapies and gauge his improvement. Las Vegas Center for Vision Therapy has the latest vision therapy equipment as well (e.q., multiple computer programs where you could gauge progress by levels). Dr. Landerville knows what she is doing with vision therapies, and as a health care provider myself (PhD in Nursing), I highly recommend her services to anyone (e.q., post head injury, concussion, stroke, encephalitis, etc.) who is in need of such therapies. Dr. Landerville also provides pre-tests and follow-up vision tests for comparison on the effectiveness of the therapies. I love looking at numbers, and my son has improved in every area she tested him in. Thank you, Dr. Landerville!!!"^^ . . .
